Enhanced Distribution

In fact, let me start at the bottom of JetPack. You can see that the first thing that I’ve got active, on my site, is a thing called ‘enhanced distribution.’ What this does is it goes and actually shares your content. Whenever you post something new, it will share that content over the WordPress network and will also go and let the search engines know that bit quicker.

Again, because the post is coming
via WordPress.com, it has a bit more clout with the search engines and a bit more clout with many of the other services that they syndicate to as well.

So, it’s a very useful feature and it will go
spread your word instantly telegram number list to more people. I’ve noticed that my traffic has gone up every time I post something new. So it’s definitely worth doing that as it will increase the traffic to your site, as long as you’ve got it activated and you’re creating regular content.

Incidentally, alongside the enhanced distribution
you’ll also want to use some of the sharing options as well.

Sharing Options
The sharing options are great because they allow you, again, to add more elements, more social media elements to your site. So, down at the bottom of the page, you will see – every time you post something new – if you look at the bottom of the page you’ll see there are sharing buttons put there by the JetPack plugin.

Now, again, if you’re using a plugin already that does that, then you can get rid of that and instead use the sharing options within JetPack.

Personally, I use both. I use the sharing
options in Jetpack, but I also use a plugin called Digg Digg which is just wonderful. So it’s a fantastic plugin which actually gives you a floating bar down the left-hand side, where people are reading your post. Down the left-hand side of that post are all the sharing buttons and those buttons float down the page as people scroll down. So I use that and I also use the sharing options from WordPress.com as well, via JetPack.

The only reason I do that is because I found that it converts better and I get more people sharing my content by using Digg Digg.

Jetpack Comments
Another thing to go for are the sharing options using JetPack comments. Now JetPack comments allows you to spread the word across various different networks. The difference here is that you’re actually giving people the opportunity to sign in to your website and leave a comment using either their Facebook, Twitter or WordPress.com account.

Again, this means that you’re spreading your message across various different networks and people may hear about you who otherwise wouldn’t – because that person will have signed in using their social media account. Then their friends or their followers will have seen that they’ve written something because it will come up on their wall or because it will come up in their Twitter feed.

So, as a result, again, you’ve got that interaction where you’re spreading your message over the social media networks and you’re likely to get more traffic as a result.

This is something I’m still testing but it’s worked pretty well so far from what I can tell. So, again, that’s another useful one.
