How to Get High Quality Backlinks with This Free Tool

Beitragvon bcellphonelist » Samstag 11. Oktober 2025, 09:11

In today’s post I want to look at something which many of you have asked me about:

How to Get Backlinks
Many people who are unaware of the world of Search Engine Optimization may not realise that one of the big currencies in Google is the number of links that point back to your site.

But – and here’s a very, very important note – all links are not created equal.

Just because you’ve got 20,000 links
going to your site – it doesn’t mean brother cell phone list that your site will rise up the rankings. If those links are bad, in fact, your site will drop down the rankings, never to be seen again because they’re from spammy sites or link farms or blog networks; lots of those different things that have been outlawed by Google.

Lots of big blog networks were affected quite recently in one of the more recent updates.

Over time, Google is getting
smarter and smarter about what kind of links work for your site. It wants to produce the most authentic internet experience for its users.

So Drop My Link (DML) is a good way for you to keep on the good side of Google and get some good backlinks.

Here’s how to use it:

Go and search for your keyword
then choose a certain type of site. You need to decide whether it’s a Do Follow Comment Blog, a Comment Luv Premium Blog or an Expression Engine Forum that you’re looking for.

I’m not going to go through each one, but they are all valuable in their own different way. If you can spread the types of links that you get back to your site, that helps because it gives your links a bit of variety.

Variety Matters
If you get all of the same type of link (like, for example, if your site only gets .edu links), then the chances are Google will see that and probably flag it for being a bit spammy. Unless your site happens to be an educational site, in which case that fits.

Just think of it logically – that’s all it is. If you’ve got loads of government sites linking to your site, well that’s a good thing, up to a point. But past a certain point and it’s going to look spammy again, because it just looks like you’ve gone to loads of .gov sites and got loads and loads of links.

Again, it’s not really about that

It’s about going to these places and providing value. In particular, if you can find places to comment that’s a great thing because it allows you to go and actually comment and leave some value for the users of that site.

If you leave something of value on here for example, then by all means, I’m going to approve the comment and give you a link back to your site, which may help you.

IMPORTANT: Please don’t use this service just to spam the hell out of all the different sites.

A Working Example
So, let’s just use a niche – let’s just say ‘improve memory.’ Let’s just say it’s that one. Then I’ll choose a place I can comment and then leave some value. The forums will be good, but I’m going to go for ‘Keyword Luv Blogs’ and click on Search.

When you do that, DML uses Google to search for ‘improve memory’ but then looks specifically for certain types of blog or forum.

Of course, not all of them will still have the comments open, but it’s worth the time just going through each result, opening a few in a new window and just seeing what it is that you find.

In the video, I find an example of a video from the former memory World Champion.

So what you could do is leave a comment about the video.

Firstly, actually watch the video, read the post and then leave something of value that enhances their post.

Don’t just go there with the idea of ‘I’m going to get a link back to my site, which is going to give me better rankings in the search engines.’ That’s not a cool thing to do and it’s not really the attitude that will help your rankings.

I did it wrong when I first got started

I thought: ‘I’ll just go and get loads of links, doesn’t really matter where I get them from’ – but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Fortunately I didn’t do it very much because if I had done, then my site would have just dropped off the face of the planet and you’d never have ever heard of it.
