u4gm Path of Exile 2 Infernalist Exploding Minions Guide

If you’ve just hopped into Path of Exile 2’s Rise of the Abyssals league, you might be hunting for something fresh that isn’t the same old spell spam or melee grind. Well, if chaos, fire, and a whole lot of minion mayhem sound good to you, the Witch Infernalist build is right up your alley. It’s this wild mix of skeletal pyros and spectral demolition crews turning packs into ash while you hang back and steer the carnage. The best part? It’s not complicated to start, and before long you’ll feel like you’re running the ultimate destruction show. Trust me, once you see your first chain of fiery blasts rolling through an entire screen, it’s magic. Oh, and if you need to gear up quick, grabbing some PoE 2 Currency early on can give you a head start.

The heart of it is the Infernalist ascendancy. It’s basically built for this style—your minions get hefty damage boosts, especially from Unholy Might giving them extra chaos punch. Early on, you might notice Necromantic Conduit eats up your mana, but a couple of passive points sort that out quick. Once Pain Offering is in the mix, damage skyrockets. Your main gang? Skeletal Arsonists with Minion Damage and Feeding Frenzy so they’re aggressive and love AoE fights. For bosses, the Bind Spectre skill pulls in heavy hitters like Vaal Guard Bombers. Add Skeletal Brutes for that handy Intimidate debuff and Skeletal Frost Mages for a clutch damage reduction command when things get messy.

The passive tree is straight-forward. Scoop up the minion damage and life nodes near the Witch start first—clusters like Profane Commander and Relentless Fallen are essential. As you level, aim for Spirit and mana sustain to feed your growing army. Later, pile on Energy Shield to become insanely tanky while your squad does the fighting. For jewels, anything that buffs minion damage, chaos damage, or gives +1 to Maximum Number of Spectres is gold.

Gear-wise, you don’t need a huge budget to get rolling. A basic sceptre with +1 to Level of all Minion Skill Gems and a chestpiece stacked with life and resistances will do fine. As you earn currency, hunt down uniques—Bones of Ullr for extra Spirit, Enfolding Dawn to boost your Arsonists, and later on Ventor’s Gamble rings for massive Spirit. Pair those with a Darkness Enthroned belt loaded with abyss jewels. Always cap your resists first, then push minion gem levels and damage.

In play, it’s pure fun. You’re zooming through maps while packs blow up off-screen thanks to your minions. Boss fights are simple—drop your curses like Despair, hit Pain Offering, tell your army to focus, and watch bars melt. It’s fast, powerful, and ridiculously satisfying for anything the Rise of the Abyssals throws at you. If you’re ready to dive in and watch chaos unfold, grabbing some poe 2 buy could set you up nicely for the ride.
