T-800 ‘Pay-to-Win’ Skin in Black Ops 6 Gets Slight Visibility Nerf

In response to player feedback, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has introduced a minor visibility adjustment to the T-800 Endo Titanium Core skin, which was frustrating players in both core multiplayer and Warzone. The dark-colored skin, based on the iconic Terminator, was blending too easily into the game’s darker maps and shadowed areas, giving users a potential advantage.

This issue sparked comparisons to the now-infamous Roze skin, which had to be modified multiple times in previous CoD entries. While the T-800 skin hasn’t reached that same level of infamy, it still earned the label of “pay-to-win” due to its premium nature and the tactical benefit it provided.

The developers addressed the complaints in their April 8 patch, stating the skin had been adjusted to improve visibility. However, players are noting that the changes are subtle, if not barely noticeable. Early side-by-side screenshots circulating online show that the T-800 remains quite hard to detect in specific lighting conditions.
